For reading we have been reading a one of our big books. The book was called the "Bunyip in the Billabong" by Jill Eggleton. For writing we were learning how to write a persuasive argument. So our teacher Mr Breach had an idea of putting them together. So with our imagination we had to pretend to be the bunyip who is writing to the villagers. The easiest way was when we had to think for our reasons because thing's just came to my mind.
To The villagers
Can you please keep me in the billabong. I am the last bunyip in the world.
If you keep me in the billabong I will attract tourists and they will pay money and more money and you will be the richest village in the world.
If there was ever an alien invasion I will scare them off and they will never come back. Their lives would of probably ran from their skin.
I will also put mud on your roof for insulation for cold days and cold nights. You will be warm like a mug of hot chocolate.
As you see I am a very helpful and I promise I won’t bite.
