Inquiry-Change

For Inquiry we have been learning about change. Our experiment was putting vinegar and baking soda together. It was very cool because when the cork fell it touched the roof and left foam. I knew the cork was going to fly off but I did not think it would touch the roof.

Make a hypothesis (guess) about the following

What do you think will happen? I think that when you put the vinegar and the baking soda together will explode and the cork will fly off because when you mix vinegar and baking soda causes carbon dioxide and that is what makes the cork fly off the bottle.

For Calendar art this week we have learnt how to blend colors with paint. I loved painting but I found it hard to blend the paint together. First I drew the outline of the Sun and the water. The I painted the dark sky and I waited until it dries. Then I painted the rest. This is how it turned out.
