For literacy our focus is working on different styles of writing. For our
information report we had a choice between the pyramids of Egypt or
the extreme weather. The most challenging thing for me was finding the facts.
The easiest thing was writing it down .
Pyramids of Giza
Have you wondered how Pyramids were made? So have I. The Pyramids of Giza
were the tallest manmade structure in the world.
The Pyramids of Giza were made by the pharaoh's slaves.
They Used two main stones from beside the river Nile to build the Pyramids.
The river Nile was close because so they can save time from where they are
making the pyramids.
To pull the big stone across the desert they wet the sand in front of
them and then pulled it across the sand . The pharaoh Khufu was the
one who wanted to build the pyramids of giza. He made them because
when he dies they bury him in the center of the Pyramid.
The Pyramids were covered with limestone and it made it made smooth.
It used shine like a bight star but the that layer has fallen down because of a earthquake.
The Pyramids are older than 3,800 years. The weight of the the great pyramid 2.5 tons.
The Pyramids of Giza are fascinating things. Do you think we will ever find the
real story behind them? If we did it would move the world with excitement.
