Paper Aeroplanes- Measurement

In maths we have been learning about measurement. We have been learning how to estimate and measure. I made a paper plane marked out a runway with measurement tape. First we had to estimate how far my plane will go I estimated 1.5m but it actually went 1.6m it went further than I thought then we were allowed to make another plane for our second throw my second plane was a lot better than my first one I estimated that it would go 2m and it did go 2m I wasn't happy about because when I threw it for a practice it went 4 meters and when I threw it for real it failed.          

Robotic's

For the last 10 weeks we have learning how to program a EV3.
First I learnt to make it go forward and then stop then it go forward again.Then I learnt how to make it go right and left. I found really hard to program because my group kept getting confused.The thing that I loved was when we finally got it to move.
   

All About Me

For maths we have been learning about measurements. Our teacher split us into three groups. I was in group three. First I created a kahoot. After we finished our teacher told us to measure the parts of our body. The hardest part was when I could not measure some parts of my body so I sat with someone to help me.    
        

My wrist is 14 cm.

My all around ankle is 23 cm.

My from my wrist to my fingers is 15 cm.

My all around my  waist is 70 cm.

The length of my leg is 82 cm.

The length of my foot is 19 cm.

The length of my arm 57 is cm.

My length of my body 133 cm.

My width of my body 123 cm.

The length of my ear is 6 cm.

The length of my middle finger is 7 cm.

The length of my thumb is 6 cm.

The length of my pinky is 5 cm.

The length of my my calf is 22 cm.

The length of my face is 16 cm.

The length of my fingernail is 1 cm.

Danny's Truck

For maths Nici's dad bought his truck to school for us to look at. We asked Danny lots of math questions about the truck. We asked about how high and long it is and lots of other things. We also got to go on the truck it was quite high for me but soon enough I got over it.       

Kahoot

In maths we made a Kahoot about standard units. First we got put in three groups and each group got given a task to do my task was to make a Kahoot. A Kahoot is a quiz.

Using Our People Powers-Make Their Day

Today we talked about how we can make people's day. 
During this week I will make people day's by:

1. Giving people Compliments 
2. Include other people in my conversations and games
3. Greet people as I pass by
4. Smiling at people
5. Open the doors for other people  

I will catch up with you next week to let you know how I got on.

During the week I tried to give people as many Compliments as I could. I gave a few Compliments.I gave my friend a Compliment about her hair because she can make her hair in so many cool styles.I also included people in what I did with a big smile.I always say good morning and good afternoon when I pass people.Last of all I opened the doors for other people. I always feel warm inside when I make someone's day.
