North and South

My home town is Christchurch. I love Christchurch. I love the Bright Blue Beaches it makes me relax.
Christchurch isn't busy yes you see lot's of people but compared to other places it's not busy at all.
Hagley park is a great place too. You go for a walk, run or walk your dog little kids like to go scootering or biking. New Brighton pier is amazing it's like your in the ocean without getting wet.
Mōrena Sandra!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team and I will be commenting on your blog posts this year. I see that you participated in the programme last summer; welcome back! :)
Christchurch sounds like a wonderful place to grow up. I've never been myself but reading your post has made me want to visit. What's your favourite thing to do in Christchurch during the summer holidays? My favourite thing to do in my hometown is go to the beach. Hagley Park sounds like a lovely place to visit. Do you have a dog that you take there?
Congratulations of completing your first activity, Sandra. I can't wait to read your next post. Until then, happy blogging! :)

Hi Mikey
DeleteThank-you for commenting on my blog. My favourite thing to do in Christchurch is standing in the water at the beach and walking with my mum at hagley park. No I don't have a dog but I have a rabbit and I am trying to teach it karate.

Hi Sandra,
DeleteThose sound like wonderful ways to spend the long summer days. Do you have a favourite beach?
A rabbit?! Cool! What's his/her name? How are the karate lessons going? I imagine it must be quite hard to teach a rabbit how to do karate. I used to have a guinea pig when I was younger. His name was Nugget!
Talk soon,
Mikey :)
Hi Mikey
